My dad used to have a rad red beard back in the day. So I had the idea to capture some of my guy friends having their best beard moments.

Great project idea. You made me laugh with all your comments and clever imagery. I would play with saturation to really make this images even stronger. Have you tried the lightroom "presets"? There are some great ones like "punch" that would really bright clarity and strenght to images like this!
I like how you included the image of your friend who wanted to be in the series. Fun.
